Keshi Hails Sunshine’s Eagles Stars

All the 26 players invited to camp for the August 15 friendly against Niger Republic in Niamey had a full training session together today with Head Coach, Stephen Keshi fully in charge of proceedings.

Four players from Sunshine Stars of Akure, who were expected, finally joined camp with Keshi heaping praises on them for their above average performance against their Algerian counterparts in the CAF Champions League cracker.

They are, Godfrey Oboabona, goalkeeper Moses Ocheje, Izu Azuka and Kwambe Solomon.

Meanwhile, the battle for 23 shirts for those who will make the trip to Niger Republic has been on the high now that all the players invited are in camp, with no one wanting to make mistakes and the coaching crew watching with eagle eyes for lapses and strength of the players.
