Fashola:Hoisting Of NSF Flag Will Cement National Unity.

Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola has said that the hoisting of 18th National Sport Festival flag serve as a means of cementing the nation's unity.
Fashola who made this statement in Lagos during the official hoisting of the National Sports Festival flag said he was pleased that the concepts of hoisting the Games flag has become part of activities to signal the commencement of the Games.
"We gathered to take momentous step towards the hoisting of the 18th National Sports Festival flag and am pleased that the idea of hoisting of the flag becomes part of the ceremonial towards the formal opening of the Games."
The Governor who was in Abuja couple of month ago,to join in receiving the Game Torch from the last host Rivers State Government to signal the beginning of formalities toward this year's edition said all venues approved for the Games are in place Substantially to indicate that Lagos State is ready for the National Sports Festival billed for 27th of November through ninth od December.
"About some days ago, i was in Abuja to join in receiving torch from the last host, Rivers State Government to signal the commencement of formalities towards official opening of this edition of the Games."
"Today, i believe we take a bold step in the ceremonial process towards the opening.I like to say while all infrastructure is in place substantially signifying that Lagos Is Ready".
"The only thing i see useful to add today is that what would have been the colour and the value of this country if there is one flag to hoist".
While thanking the Local organising commite,L.O.C,for bringing the State to the historical milestone,the Governor assured of unmatchable hospitality from the State Government in receiving thousands of delegates,athletes and officials who would storm Lagos State for the EKO 2012.
