Nigeria supporters club has called on president Goodluck Jonathan to assist the club through financial support to embark on the journey to Kenya for the super Eagles away match in the FIFA World cup qualifier.
Its president,Rauf Ladipo, who was in China to address the international conference on supporter and fans on sports, said the club would need enough funds running into millions of naira to travel to Kenya to drum support for the Eagles victory.
While regarding the Nigeria supporters club as a selfless service for the course of Nigeria, the club's President General, said it was disheartening that the Federal Government compensated them with the sum of Five million naira when the Super Eagles were hosted by President Goodluck Jonathan after wining the African Cup of Nations held in South Africa, adding that the they expended eighty-nine million naira on the South Africa, 2013, African cup of Nations.
Ladipo, said the club would depart the country on the fourth of June to Kenya and they would leave Kenya for Johannesburg, South Africa and from there they would join the Eagles in Namibia.
He was optimistic that super Eagles would record away victory against Kenya in the FIFA World cup qualifier, adding that the Eagles technical crew as well as the players need to work hard to earn a victory.
