Raymond King: Nigeria Is Blessed With Quality Goalkeepers.

Former Abiola Babes football club goalkeeper, Raymond King, has said that the country have arrays of quality goalkeepers who would take over from Super Eagles goalkeepers, Austin Ejide and Vincent Enyeama.

King, who mentioned Niyi Fabiyi of Bayelsa United and Leye Ayodele of Sunshine stars of Akure as one of the best goalkeepers in the Nigerian Professional Football League, said the league had been a good fortune in providing quality goaltenders to the national teams.

He advised the present day goaltenders to imbibe the ethics of working extra hard as the trend was the source of his excellent performances during his active playing days, stressing that most of the football players in the Nigerian league are satisfied with their coaches daily routine training programmes.

He said the management of Gateway United has adopted similar training attitude to its players and the trend has been yielding positive results.
