Flamingos Qualify For Costa Rica 2014, As South Sudan Withdraws.

Nigeria's Flamingos, has been given an automatic ticket for next year’s FIFA Under 17 Women’s World Cup finals taking place in Costa Rica.
This is because the team's opponent in the qualifying round, South Sudan, that is expected to play against Flamingos in the first leg match scheduled for November, has withdrawn from the qualifying race.
Nigeria Football Association, General Secretary, Musa Amadu, says the association will ensure the team starts early preparation i readiness for the Wolrd Cup.
“It’s good that our team has qualified early. The Nigeria Football Federation will ensure the team starts preparation early enough and very ready to do Nigeria proud,” stated NFF General Secretary, Barrister Musa Amadu.
The 2014 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup finals will be staged in San Jose, Alajuela, Liberia and Tibas.
