Kwesi Tandoh Charges Sports Council Officials To Co-operate With Him.

The newly appointed Director of Sports, Lagos State Sports Council, Kwesi Tandoh, has been introduced to the management of the council.

Tandoh, who now relieved former acting Director of Sports, Grace Asagba, was introduced yesterday by the Premanent Secretary of the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Social Development, Abiola Awonuga.

The Director of Sports, whose appointment took effect from Friday, thirteenth of September, described his apppointment as a call to serve the state again having served as the Executive Secretary of the 18th National Sports Festival tagged EKO 2012 Games, where the Team Lagos clinched third position.

According to him, the  appointment by the Governor, Babatunde Fashola is a privilege and honour to serve in an area where he has passion for.

He promised not to disappoint the Governor and the Commissioner for Youth, Sports and Social Development, Wahid Enitan Oshodi .

He solicited the co-operation and support of the staff of Lagos State Sports Council, most especially the Management Staff, adding that all hands must be on deck to carry out the assignment of transforming the Lagos State Sports Council to enviable heights in Nigeria.

The Permanent Secretary, Office of Sports, Abiola Awonuga, who appealed to the council's management team and staff to  co-operate and support the new Director of Sports, said they must operate as sporting family members to achieve the desired success.
