A former member of he Nigeria Football Association,NFA, Taiwo Ogunjobi, has been told to stay away from football activities for a period of ten year.
The was contained in a communique issued by the association after the Executive Committee of the Nigeria Football Association, met in Addis Ababa, capital of Ethiopia on to discuss pertinent issues in Nigeria football
The sanction was based on the report of an investigative committee headed by Barrister Christopher Green.
To this end, Taiwo Ogunjobi, who is a member of Osun State Football Association will have to relinquish his position based on the ban.
Similarly, the Committee, based on the report of an investigative committee headed by Emeka Inyama, placed a fifteen -year ban on Rumson Victor Baribote to do away from all football-related activities.
The Committee has also resolved to set up a four-man committee to investigate an allegation of bribery against a member of the Executive Committee, Barrister Olaleye Adepoju.

Shehu Adamu, Alhaji Muazu Kawu and Brigadier-General Emma Okaro (rtd), with Alizor Chuks as Secretary. In the meantime, Barrister Adepoju is suspended from Chairmanship of the Organising and Disciplinary Committee of the Federation.

The Committee approved Thursday, 28th November as date for the 2013 Annual General Assembly of Nigeria football, with Warri, Delta State as venue.
