The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF has assured that match tickets for the 2014 federation's cup final slated for Sunday at the Teslim Balogun Stadium will be ready on Tuesday for distribution.
Its chairman organising committee, Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi, who explained that the match tickets would be available at the Teslim Balogun and Onikan Stadia, said soccer fans would enjoy delightful football between Enyimba International Football Club of Aba and Dolphins Football Club based on the quality of Nigeria Professional football league.
Akinwunmi, who doubles as the chairman of Lagos State Football Association, said Nigerian league had improved when compared to other African Football leagues, stressing that the International friendly against the Black Meteors of Ghana at the Uyo Stadium, was a testimony that Nigerian domestic league players are bunch of football jogglers who could compete favourably with their colleagues in other African nations
The NFF first Vice - President, who has also assured of excellent organisation of international standard, said plans were in top gear to prevent invasion of Teslim Balogun pitch as thousands of security personnels would be on ground to curb soccer violence.
On the issue of thirteen Nigerian great football players who had played in the then Challenge Cup now known as Federation's Cup, Akinwunmi said the gesture which was to recognise their contributions is a continuous exercise as all the past great players cannot be rewarded within a year of Federation cup finals.
