Nnamdi Oduamadi Wants To Play For Olympic Team

Super Eagles forward, Nnamdi Oduamadi, has expressed his desire to play for Nigeria's Under 23 team as one of the nation's over - age players required to play for the team in 2016 Rio Olympics.

 Oduamadi, who had played for the team under the tutelage of Austin Eguavoen, where they failed to qualify for the London 2012 Olympic Games, said the present squad must work hard to feature at the next Olympic Games, adding that he would give his best in ensuring that the team make Nigeria proud at the Games in Brazil.

The Super Eagles striker, said the nation's soccer fans should put behind them the failure of Super Eagles to qualify for the 2015 Equatorial Guinea African Cup of Nations,Afcon, as the team would soon bounce back to play in the next edition of Afcon.

He commended the NFF for re-building the team with Nigeria's domestic league players, stressing that it is a right direction towards re- branding Super Eagles ahead of future challenges
