Referees Assessors’ Seminar Opens In Abuja

NFF President Amaju Melvin Pinnick on Tuesday in Abuja declared open the Second National Seminar for Referees’ Assessors ahead of the 2014/2015 Nigeria Professional Football League season.

The President, who was represented by the 1st Vice President, Barrister Seyi Akinwumi, charged the assessors to give their best to ensure quality refereeing in the new season while promising the Federation will give its full support.

Chairman of the NFF Referees’ Committee, Alhaji Yusuf Ahmed Fresh gave the opening remarks at the event, charging the assessors to ensure they give their best while appreciating the quality the 60 referee assessors in attendance.

In his vote of thanks, NRA President, Alhaji Tade Azeez appealed to the NFF leadership to ensure that adequate security is provided for the assessors at all match venues, while appreciating the efforts of the Federation so far.

NFF General Secretary, Barrister Musa Amadu, Director of Technical Emmanuel Ikpeme, former NRA President Ahmed Maude and FIFA Technical Advisor on refereeing and NFF consultant, Mr. Linus Mba were also at the event.
