Chairman of CD Feirense Football club of Portugal, Kunle Soname has commended the heroics of his player Ogenekaro Etebo against Japan at the Rio 2016 Olympics opener where he scored four goals to take the Dream Team to the submit of the group.

The 2016 Olympics games kicked off in fine fashion for Etebo after his four goals secured a 5-4 win over Japan to stake a claim for the top scorer award.

The former Warri Wolves midfielder secured a move to newly promoted Portuguese side CD Feirense owned by Nigeria business tycoon Mr Kunle Soname in late January.

Etebo, who was crowned CAF most promising footballer early in the year,is already enjoying rave reviews as one of the star attractions at the Rio olympics.

According to Soname"Well am very happy with Etebo's performance in the opening games at the Olympics. Etebo has always been a consistent player and am not surprised with his performance against Japan.

"He has been progressing well after he left the country to Portugal, he is just beginning to fulfill his full potential and he would do that in the Portuguese premier league this season."
