The fourth edition of the Boska/ LCDA Soccer Championship scheduled to start yesterday has been postponed till tomorrow at the Teachers Training College, Ifako Ijaye.
The postponement according to the chairman of Lagos Divisional Football Association, Dotun Coker, was because of the State's Federation Cup semi final matches which was played yesterday at the National Stadium Astro turf pitch.
Coker, said the Federation Cup supercede activities of the state and Divisional Football Associations, stressing that officials of LDFA are also involve in the runing of the Federation Cup.
According to the fixtures, eight matches have been scheduled for tomorrow in three venues, stessing that the comopetition has produced great football players among whom was the goalkeeper of the last Golden Eaglets team that featured at the last concluded FIFA Under 17 World Cup.
Coker, who appealed to all the participating clubs to obtain their fixtures at the LDFA Secretariat, Said the competition has been embraced by other states based on the popularity the tournament has garnered in the state.
