Former Super Eagles Goalkeeper trainer, Joe Erico, has said that difference between the Nigeria Football Federation and its coaches were responsible for Amodu Shuaibu action of taking the Federation to Arbitration court.
Erico, who agreed that Amodu Shuaibu should not have drag NFF to the arbitration court over the manner at which his contract was terminated, said the NFF needs to establish a mutual relationship where Nigeria's indegenous football coaches would be willing to work without being afraid.
The formergoalkeeper of defunct NEPA Football Club of Lagos, said the NFF should endeavor to build a good image for its coaches either foreign or indegenous,stressing that Berti Vogts who last Super Eagles foreign technical adviser was able to collect his backlock of allowances through the arbitration court.
While sharing his experince over his backlog allowances which the association is yet to pay, Erico, said the Federation should embrace a modern way of dealing with its football coaches.
He added that Brazil would continue to the world best in football because the nation's football authorities respect and pave the way for their former internationals excel while handling the national teams.
He explained that the inclussion of Austin Eguavoen and Daniel Amokachi as Lagerback Assistant coaches but he warned the duo to be wary of NFF non- challant attitude towards indegenous coaches.
