KADUNA CORPORATE LEAGUE CUP

The third edition of the kaduna corporate league cup will kick off this saturday at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium training pitch.

The kaduna corporate league cup is a football tournament organised for the staff of banks, telecomms and insurance companies.

It a means of building employees confidence and loyalty and intergrate management and workforce at every level as it would also bond organisations through sport, health, fitness and fun.

The competition is organised by Bestworth Brokers and supported by Wadson International,Berstway International and Swan Waters.

The teams have been divided into two groups as the defending champion, Unity Bank will lock horns with Oceanic Bank in the opening match in group A.

Last years runners up U.B.A will play Fidelity Bank in group B just as Diamond Bank will play GTBank in the third place encounter while Skye Bank and Bank PHB will slug it out in a group B match.

According to the organisers, last years highest goal scorer, Ibrahim Yakubu, of unity bank would be brought into the hall of fame for emerging as the highest goal scorer in the last two editions.

Skye Bank won the maiden edition in 2008 while Unity Bank won the second edition in 2009.
