Players and officials of Dolphins FC departed for Minna on Thursday morning for Saturday’s Nigeria Premier League Week 5 game against Niger Tornadoes.
Dolphins ended week 4 as League leaders having won three games and lost one and will be hoping to consolidate with a good result against Tornadoes.
After last weekend’s 3-0 win over Gombe United, Dolphins Manager, Stanley Eguma said the plan of the club now is to maintain their position at the top of the table.
“It was a good win for us against Gombe last week; a good but difficult win but we thank God that the players came through at least in the 2nd half to score those beautiful goal,” Eguma said.
“Now we have returned to the top we would want to remain there so we are going to Minna to scores goals and come back with a result.
“And yes we know Minna is a difficult place to play but I also want to say that my players are now doing their thing with more understanding and the sky can only be the limit for us,”
