
Former Super Eagles coach, Peter Rufai, has declared his readiness to work as the Super Eagles goalkeeper trainer if giving the opportunity to share his wealth of his experience with the team's goaltenders.
Rufai, fondly called Dodo Mayana during his playing days, told our sports correspondent, Yinka Adebayo, that it has been his willingness to work again for his father in another capacity as a goalkeeper trainer.
The former Stationery Stores goalkeeper, said he has what it takes to occupy such position following his past records as a local league player, national team goalkeeper and as a goalkeeper to foreigns football clubs, adding that he has impact positive virtues in over twenty thousand Nigerian youth through sports.
Rufai, said Samson Siasia is expected to come up with list of personnels he prefers to work with him as an Assistant coach based on his plans, adding that Siasia must enter into a contractual agreemnt with the Nigeria Football Association on who becomes his assistant coaches.
The goalkeeper, said he has not applied for the plum job but he is ready to give back to the society that made him, stressing that Nigerian is blessed with good goalkeepers of international repute.
