Super Eagles Donate World Cup Bonus To Charity.

Written By sportsweight.blogspot.com on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 | 1:10 AM

Nigeria's Super Eagles has donated a portion of their earnings from the 2010 World Cup to the Abuja Motherless Babies Home.

The team's Captain Joseph Yobo, who made the presentation on behalf of the squad, said the team were conscious of their responsibilities as ambassadors and hoped the gesture would go a long way to ease the lives of the motherless.

Children from the Home were at the Super Eagles training in Monday with their Matron to accept the cash donation and have a photo session with the team.
