Union Bank Whips Dodan Warriors.

Despite beating Dodan Warriors by 79 - 75 points in the week 6 of the DSTV/NBBF Premier League at the indoor sports hall of the National Stadium, the Head coach of Union Bank Basketball Club of Lagos, Ayinla Johnson, has charged his players to wake up to their responsibility to qualify for the Play off.

Ayinla, believed that Dodan Warriors are a good side with credible basketball player, Mohammed Bukar, whom he described as one of the best African guard points, said there are a lot grounds for his team to cover to win the league following the beautiful display of basketball artistry by Dodan Warriors players.

The Dodan Warriors which had lost it last game to Royal Hoopers of Port Harcourt started the first quarter on a good note as Mohammed Bukar, Edwin Jerry and Oladipo Ogunnubi were on top of the game with a prospect of winning the game as the first quarter ends in their favor, 26 points to 19.

Warriors step its fight in the second quarter by wining the second quarter with 44 points to 38 but the victory spurred Union Bank players to take control of the third quarter through the fourth quarter as Wasiu, Okoh among others fought hard to show the team's superiority over Dodan Warriors.

In other games played over the weekend in Atlantic Conference, Police Baton beat Delta Force by 82 points to 67.

Royal Hoopers 88 - 56 Police Baton as Union Bank Basketball rekindled its plight to qualify for the play off after beating Comets by 71 points to 65.

In the Savannah Conference, Kano Pillars outplayed Niger Potters 74 points to 58, as Yelwa Hawks defeated Plateau Peaks by 67 points to 47 as Bauchi Nets outdunked Kada Stars by 82 points to 71 just as Immigration defeated Tapgun Rockets by 84 points to 76.
