Former Super Eagles striker, Daniel Amokachi, has said that the release of Mikel Obi's father was a big relief to the Obi's family as well as Nigeria's football administrators and players.
The former Everton striker, said the Chelsea F.C midfielder, Mikel Obi, had been in a truma ever since his father, Micheal Obi, was kidnapped and his release would enable hi to concentrate of his football career in the English Premier League.
Amokachi, who condemned the act, called on the Federal Government to improve the nation's security network system to redeem the nation's image.
Similarly, Fomer Prince of Monaco, Victor IKpeba,said he was delighted that Miel Obi's father had been released as e commended Mikel for being courageous to play Stoke City and West Bromwich Albiom leagu matches in the EPL despite his trauma.
