Former Super Eagles Coach,
Samson Siasia, has urged the handler of Nigeria's Eagles, Stephen Keshi,
not to adopt similar tactical error he committed during the last
African Nations Qualifier against Guinea which would deprive or put the team on a
tight rope in securing a ticket for the forthcoming African Nations Cup
qualifier.
The former Eagles Chief Coach, said
Nigeria was knocked out of the last edition of the African Nations Cup
because the Guinean scored first at the National Stadium Abuja and the
early goal went a long way to derail the team's technical crew from
designing a positive tactical approach to win the encounter since they
were thinking of scoring either a goal or two goals to scale through to
the competition proper.
While commending Keshi
for paving the way for
the Nigerian premier league players in the Eagles, said the team's Head
coach should endeavor to select the best football players he thinks
would help him to win the match against the Namibia national team on
Sunday because he does not have ample time to waste with the number of
matches the squad have to play within a space of a month.
He advised the former Eagles captain
to request for the video tape of the Namibia national side and he needs
to understudy it wisely as it would enable him to design a better
tactical approach to the match with a view of securing maximum points,
adding that his tactics must be designed in a such a way that it must be
suitable to the players.
