Eight matches will be played on Wednesday in the second round of the on-going 2012 Speaker's Cup Football Competition which begins tomorrow at Onikan and Agege Stadia.
At the Agege Stadium, Coker-Aguda will confront Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area in the first match at Agege Stadium while Amuwo Odofin Local Government take on Lagos Island Local Government.
Ojodu Local Council Development Area meet Eti-Osa Local Government just as oto-Awori lock horns agains Apapa-Iganmu at the Agege Stadium
At Onikan Stadium, Orile Agege Local Council Development Area and Mushin Local Government will play the first match as Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area will challenge Ojo Local Government.
Ifako-Ijaye Local Government will play the winner between Apapa Local Government and Ikotun-Igando Local Council Development Area while Ifelodun Local Council Development Area will test the might of MosanOkunola Local Council Development Area
According to the Chairman Local Organizing Committee Honorable Babatunde Lawrence Ayeni, all the quarter-final matches would be played at the Agege Stadium Friday while the semi-final matches would come up on Sunday as the Final and 3rd Place matches would be decided next Tuesday at the Agege Stadium.
While speaking on the tournament, Ayeni, said all the qualified teams must adhere strictly with the dates and venues of the matches, stressing that all the matches wold be played on knock out basis.
