Ondo State has won additional three Gold
medals at the ongoing 18th National Sports Festival.
Ibukun
Adamolekun beat other competitors to win gold medal in the 100m
butterfly swimming event while Akina Kpiliboh won silver in 800m back
stroke.
Adeniyi
Ojo picked up a gold medal in pulma event of gymnastics to increase the
state medal haul.
Also
today, Kemi James of Team Ondo beat Odion Onome of Ogun state to
claim gold medal in female 57kg class boxing while Ojo Sunday also beat
Ajiboye Kazeem of Delta State in men’s 69kg bout to win the gold medal
Femi
Akinlosootu and Bamidele Apata won silver medal in the intermediate
doubles event in scrabble Aliyu kemi was not that lucky in female +81kg
as she lost 22-20 to Usman Saidat of Ogun state to settle for the silver
medal.
Team
Ondo now has 15 gold,8 silver and 22 bronze medals.
