In the male category, the Lagos State Volleyball team that defeated their counterparts from Kebbi State in their last group match by 3- 0 also outplayed Niger State by 3- 0 to book a date with Rivers State in the Semi final.
In other matches played, Rivers State outplayed Gombe State by three straight set while Imo State defeated Bayelsa State by 3- 1 just as Ondo State beat Kano State 3- 2.
To this end, Imo State will test the might of Ondo State in the Semi final clash billed for Tuesday at the Volleyball Court of the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere.
In the female cadre, Lagos State female outplayed their counterparts from Imo State in their last group match by 3 - 0 went ahead to sustain its wining streak by thrashing Adamawa State by 3- 0.
Lagos State will challenge Delta State Volleyball team in the Semi final on Tuesday while Gombe State will tackle Rivers State in the second semi final clash.
To book semi final ticket, Delta State defeated OgunState by 3- 0 as Gombe State subdued Imo State, 3 - 1 while Rivers State trounced Benue State by 3- 0.
