Ghana Confirms Nigeria Friendly.

Ghana Baseball and Softball Association have confirmed a two day international friendly with Nigeria fixed for next month in Tema Park, Accra.

In a letter sent to Nigeria Baseball and Softball Federation signed by the Secretary General of Ghana Baseball and Softball Association, Francis Asare, said the  friendly was in line with their biennial matches’ agreement.

In a quick reaction to the confirmation letter from Ghana Baseball and Softball Association, the Secretary General of Nigeria Baseball and Softball Federation, Kayode Olaniyan said that the match would serve as part of the nation’s long preparations for next year’s World Baseball Classic.

He added that   the current aggressive development of baseball in the country encourage other African countries to engage Nigeria in friendly matches.
