World Boxing Organisation, WBO, International light middleweight champion, King Davidson Emenogu will face Egyptian opponent, Abdumonem for his world title defence bout holding Friday, 31st of May, 2013, in Abuja.
The Egyptian boxer maintain high profile record at the light middleweight category, wining ten out of ten bouts without any career loss.
The WBO officials picked the Egyptian to match the Nigerian for size because of his intimidating record.
On the expectation against the Egyptian opponent for the May 31 bout in Abuja, King Davidson,said he was not intimidated by his opponents records, stressing that his priority is to be in good shape for the bout so that Nigerians would see he is the WBO International light middleweight champion.
Other bouts expected to light up the occasion include, super middleweight contest between Steve Bendal of the United Kingdom against Isaac Ekpo of Nigeria, while middleweight category is between Jake Goshing also from United Kingdom taking on Ayi Ayite from Ghana.
The welterweight boxing bout is between Joeseph Pigford of the United Kingdom against Pelumi Sodubi from Nigeria, while the featherweight contest is all Nigerian affair between Dare Oyewole against Waidi Usman both from Nigeria.
