Flying Eagles To Honour Late Oliha

 Nigeria's Flying Eagles  will wear black arm bands in today FIFA U20 World Cup game in tribute to later international Thompson Oliha, who passed away Sunday. 

The team secretary, Aliyu Ibrahim, said FIFA had approved their request to honour the late Thompson Oliha, who served the country during his lifetime. 

The world football governing body have also granted the team request to wear their all-away kits for the Round of sixteen clash against Uruguay that will wear their traditional sky blue top over black shorts.

Oliha, who died on Sunday after a brief illness in Nigeria featured at the 1987 FIFA Under - 20 World Cup in Chile.

 The winners will take on the winners of the match between Spain and Mexico on Saturday in Bursa. 

Today’s match will kick off at 7pm Nigerian time.
