Gambo Truly Has An Offer With Club Africain Of Tunisia, Says Malikawa.

Management of Kano Pillars confirmed that its striker,Gambo Mohammed, has an offer from Club Africain of Tunisia but he will sign when he arrives Tunisia in a couple of weeks .

 The released issued by th Media Oficer of the Super Eagles, Ben Alaiya, clearly stated that Kano Pillars and Super Eagles striker, Mohammed Gambo, has denied the news rounds that he has signed for a Tunisian club and will therefore be unavailable for Super Eagles return leg in Abidjan against the Elephants of Cote D’ Ivoire.

 Eagles Coach, Stephen Keshi, having spoken with the striker, confirmed that Gambo Mohammed had not signed any contract with a Tunisian club or any club outside the shore of Nigeria, thus he is still available for the return leg match against Cote D'Ivoire.

 “I have just spoken to Gambo and he has said he has not penned any deal with a Tunisian club or any club outside the country for that matter and that is why he will still be eligible for the return leg against Cote D’ Ivoire”, Keshi said emphatically.

While reacting to the media released issued by Ben Alaiya, Kano Pillars Spokesman, Idris Malikawa , said Gambo was not expected sign a contract while in Nigeria but he would soon sign a contractual agreement with the club as soon as he arrives Tunisia, adding that he would sign the contract after going through the club's terms of condition.

Malikawa, who declined to give accurate worth of the contract, said the Kano Pillars would reveal the amount that would be acruable to the Kano based football club and also to the striker immediately after the striker completes and pass medical examination.

 The club's medical officer, said the club expected Gambo to perform beyond expectations when he join the Tunisian club and also score goals against Cote D'Ivoire in the return of the African National Championship in Abidjan.

 He said the departure of Gambo Mohammed would not affect the scoring prowess of the club,adding that Kano Pillars had played and won seven league matches without the Club Africain bound striker as plans are in top gear to replace him.

 He said the club was blessed with credible strikers in mould of Kabiru Umar, Maniru Banni and Nasarawa Aliu who are capable of scoring goals.
