FIFA has appointed a Ghanaian referee, Ziga Shriseine, to take charge of the match between Nigeria's Falconets and Tunisia in the FIFA Under 20 Women World Cup qualifier.
Shriseine, is to be assisted by Zulu Mercy from Zambia who is the first Assistant referee, Ezodobe Ayawa Mana from Togo is the second Assistant referee as Aloreu Delight from Ghana is the fourth Official while the match commissioner is Pherese Manguele from Cameroon.
The match, a second round, first leg tie, comes up tomorrow at the National Stadium, Abuja.
The Tunisian girls raised not a few eyebrows when pounding their Moroccan counterparts 8-1 on aggregate (4-0 in Morocco and 4-1 in Tunis), but that still paled beside the 16- nil aggregate mauling that the Falconets handed out to their opponents from Sierra Leone.
The Falconets, silver medallists at the FIFA Under 20 Women’s World Cup in
Germany in 2010, also reached the semi finals in Japan last year and are considered sure bets for the seventh edition taking place in Canada in August 2014.
The Tunisian delegation flew into Abuja on Wednesday aboard an Egypt Air plane and will depart Abuja on Sunday.
