Season 2,Extra Joss Soccer Reaches Round Of 8

The scope of Season 2, of Extra Joss Soccer competition is getting clearer as the tournament which started across the five divisional football associations has reached the round of eight.

After the last phase of Divisional Football Association matches played by the Lagos Divisional Football Association, De Royal Football Club defeated C.O. D under 21 team by 2 goals to 1.

De Royal Football Club and C.O.D Under 21 team have qualified for the round of eight.

After the draw's, conducted on Sunday, Apapa Golden Star, from Badagry Divisional Football Association, BDFA,  C.O.D Under 21, from Lagos Divisional Football Association,LDFA, Rainbowl F.C FRO Ikeja Divisional Football Association,IDFA and Destiny F.C from Ikorodu Divisional Football Association are in Group .

While De Sholly F.C from Badagry Divisional Football Association , De Royal F.C from Lagos Divisional Football Association, Junior Milan from Ikeja Divisional Football Association and Army Boys from Epe Divisional Football Association are in Group B.

Tournament's Director, Uthman Ola Okunnu, said the round of eight which would kick- off onTuesday at the Campos Stadium, Lagos Island, will be played on round robin basis as the best two teams from each group will qualify for the semi final.
