Second half lone strike from substitute Endurance Osaghai popular known as Bongo was all that the Supreme Court FC secured to edge out visting Kogi United at the match day 4 of the Nigeria National League (NNL).
The only goal of the encounter decided at Old Parade Ground, Garki Area 8 in Abuja came in the 48 minutes of play after a well calculated throw in from Ernest Governor separated both sides who are currently sharing having six points each out of four matches played.
Speaking shortly after the game Head Coach Henry Haggai expressed happiness with the performance of his team but maintained that his aim before the game started was to score earn more scoreline.
He said “personally, I had my target while entering to play against the visitors but the goals couldn’t come even though one of our goals was disallowed.
“My next target is to start getting away points. So far in this game, my boys played to instruction. They didn’t follow their opponent to play long passes. My immediate need is to work on our finishing, there is still some work to do in the midfield. Surely, we will get there.
Goal scorer, Osaghai who was full of joy after coming from bench to score believed that his side would do more to post better performance in subsequent games.
