Gold medalists and Most Valuable Athlete at the just concluded Premier Lotto Lagos Athletics Championship, George Magdalene, of educational district two has attributed her source of victories in the just concluded Premier Lotto Lagos Athletics Championship to hard work as her priority is to represent Nigeria at international competitions.

Magdalene, a senior secondary 2 pupil of Aladura Comprehensive high school, Anthony, who won a silver medal in the maiden edition, said her dedication to hard work through her coach, Saheed Alabi, paved the way for her to win three Gold medals in the One and Two hundred metres as well as four by four hundred meters relay.

"Am looking forward to go higher than this.My priority is to represent Nigeria at the Olympic Games.Sports an Education" ."I've to set schedule, priorities to achieve her set objectives since education is the bedrock of life".

The athlete, who was adjudged the overall best female athletes having won three gold medals and surpassing last year’s records, said, she would not give up on her determination to achieve her set objective, stressing that the Laptop and Puma vouchers worth of thirty thousand naira.

"I have a very big heart, i do not give up on what i want to be."Thanked the sponsor as there is a lot of improvement."Encourage other states to emulate Lagos State Government in add values to the youths".

While urging other sates to emulate Lagos State Government in organizing regular competitions, the athlete wants the state’s government to design a programme for the discovered athletes in an effort to become Nigeria’s future stars.
