Jordan Is A Weak Candidate To Stop Amos Adamu Ambition To Become CAF President.......Uchegbulam

Ahead of 2017 CAF election, Nigeria's ace football administrator, Amos Adamu, has been regarded as the next candidate who is well endowed and vast in African and world's football practice to become CAF President after the extinction of Cameroon's Issah Hayatou's tenure as the Continental Football President in 2017.

"Adamu is a strong force to reckon with in African football and now that he is out of FIFA's ban. Adamu is a force, no doubt about that.He is well loved in Africa and if there is election, Adamu is a big force.Danny Jordan is not a threat to Adamu quest."

Former Vice-President of Nigerian Football Association, Amanze Uchegbulam, who is a member of CAF, said Amos Adamu, who is off the hook of FIFA's sanction was a force to reckon with among the African English speaking football nations whose candidates are vying for the elusive CAF President in 2017.

"It is the turn of African English speaking countries to present candidates for the CAF President election in 2017 because the French Speaking countries has been CAF President since 1988 and we have make the point clear that African English speaking should be the next CAF President".Uchegbulam.

Uchegbulam, who agreed that it is the term of African English speaking football playing nations to become the next CAF President since 26 years of Issa Hayatou's reign, adding that Adamu, a Nigerian sports administrator is in a better position among other candidates to win the election because of his wealth of experience and his strong relationship with other African countries.

"Candidate from Nigeria, South and Ghana are the foremost African English speaking countries that  are good enough to become CAF President.Nigeria is a strong contender and any candidate the country support might win the election"

He stressed that President of South African Football Association, SAFA, who has election twice, would not be an obstacle to Adamu's ambition of becoming CAF President because Danny Jordan, was not an Executive Committee member of CAF, stressing that Ghana Football Association President, Kwesi is another strong contender for the post.

On the long story in office of Hayatou, Uchegbulam, said the manner at which football was being run at CAF level differs from the politics displayed by Nigerian football administrator who mlabelled incumbent officials as a team fraudsters, embezzlers, corrupt officials, adding that the longer the CAF President stays in the office, the better it is for the growth of African football.

Hayatou, CAF President, will relinquish his power as CAF President in 2017 having been in office since 1988.
