Keshi:None Of Eagles Players Can Give Me Money To Satisfy My Hunger.

Chief Coach of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, Stephen Keshi, has reiterated that neither a football player nor football managers would bribe him to make the final list of the Super Eagles to the world cup or to feature in the team’s subsequent international friendlies.

Keshi, who made this statement against the belief that some national accept bribe to parade a particular in either a friendly or crucial match, said he had declined many football managers who approach him with the intention of luring him to invite their players to camp ahead of a match.

The coach fondly called the big boss said he was in the country as the Eagles coach to add value to the team and also to pave the way for Nigerian home based players to have a chance to express themselves, stressing that none of the present Eagles players could give him money that would satisfy his hunger.

The former Anderfeeth defender said he would have entered into a contractual agreement with Equatorial Guinea national team whose Football authorities wanted to pay twice the salary Nigeria Football Association, NFA, is paying if he wants to trade his technical depth of coaching for bribe.

On Villareal striker, Ikechuckwu Uche, Keshi explained that he did not have any grudge with the football player whom he described as a credible good striker, but he would not allow a player to work against the team he has been handling for over two years of hard work.

While noting that not all good players play in their national teams, the coach said the team was opened to Nigerian football players ho acknowledge team work.
