Keshi, who revealed that Odewingie is a good football player said the Brazil 2014 FIFA World Cup was not a jamboree but an organized world’s soccer mundial where the qualified teams would compete for honours thus he needs the players commitment and team work to surpass Eagles past records.
The coach said he would invite Nigeria’s football players irrespective of their status who have respect for the team and who do not see himself bigger than the national team as the trend is potent enough to destroy or mar the squad’s aspirations for excellent performance.
On the world cup proper, Keshi assured that he would present a formidable squad of 35 man whose determination and zeal for excellence outing would make Africa and Nigeria proud at the competition, stressing that it is an herculean task to select the final list because the nation is blessed with bunch of good football players.
On the possibility of including some of the members of Eaglets in his squad, Keshi said it was too early to integrate any member of Golden Eaglets into the Super Eagles as they need to pass through the cadres of the national teams to acquire required experience so as to become a better and matured players, adding that he could extend hands of fellowship to some Flying Eagles players.
