NFA Unban Taiwo Ogunjobi, Adedapo Lam-Adesina, Chikelue Iloanusi and Harrison Jalla and Ahmed Shuaib Gara-Gombe.

In the spirit of fair-play, leading to the elections, the Executive Committee of the Nigeria Football Association has unbanned football adminstrators who were earlier banned.

The unbanned administrators are, Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi, Adedapo Lam-Adesina, Chikelue Iloanusi and Harrison Jalla and Ahmed Shuaib Gara-Gombe.

The Executive Committee of Nigeria Football Association, made this decision on Tuesday during a meeting held  at the NFA Secretariat, Abuja  to discuss important issues around Nigeria football.

The Executive Committee advised all football stakeholders in the country to refrain from actions capable of causing divisions, rancour and acrimony in Nigeria football.

Similarly,members of both the Electoral Committee and Electoral Appeals Committee earlier removed have been re-admitted for next Tuesday  2014 Congress to continue with their electoral duties.

Executive Committee agreed that having only come into office in January 2012, the Boards of the Nigeria National League, Nigeria Women’s League and the Nigeria Nationwide League have two more years to go before their elections, and this will be presented to the Congress of 26th August, 2014 for approval.

The Committee also congratulated the Falconets for their qualification for the FIFA Under 20 Women’s World Cup semi finals and the Flying Eagles, for reaching the 2015 African Youth Championship finals.

Efforts are being made to ensure the Falconets are well motivated to lift the trophy and that the Flying Eagles are well –prepared to win the African title in Senegal early next year.

The Committee mandated the Secretariat to ensure adequate arrangements are made for the Super Eagles to fly high in their 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches at home to Congo Brazzaville and away to South Africa in September 2014.
