The determination of Nigeria's sensational table tennis
player,Aruna Quadri has earned Nigeria a semi final ticket in the Men's
Team event in the Table Tennis in the ongoing 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth
Games after defeating Australia in the quarter final.
The
table tennis hall of Scotstou Sports Campus was frenzy was it was the
turn of Aruna Quadri to complete the Men's Team game since the major
points was two- all, (3-2, 1- 3, 2- 3,3- 2).
Quadri,
who won the African top sixteen tournament in Lagos, dealt with the
Australian player in last singles games which ended three straight set
win in favour of Nigeria,3- 0.
Nigeria will now meet Singapore in the Semi final fixed for Sunday.
