One Hundred Lagos State Athletes In Holiday Camp.

Lagos State Government has fulfilled its promises to further expose its discovered athletes to the basic requirement of elevating budding talents to become world's arbiters in their chosen sports.

One hundred Lagos State athletes who were discovered at the last Premier Lotto Lagos Athletics Championship are taking part in the Lagos State Athletics Holiday Coaching programme which is in conjunction with the management of Premier Lotto.

The athletes camped at the Teslim Balogun Hostel inside the Teslim Balogun Stadium, will undergo a routine athletics training under the tutelage of the technical director of the Lagos State Athletics Association, Tony Osheku and supported by the Dele Solomon who is the Head Coach of the association.

The athletes according to reports will be subjected to time trial today at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in order to ascertain if the athletes have surpassed their initial running time before they were invited to camp which is primarily geared at taking them through thorough training programmes to their status.

The athletes who are primarily students will not only be exposed to the rudiments of athletics alone, they will also undergo tutelage from teachers from Education district four.
