Buruj Sports Academy Set For Football Fives Qualifiers.

Arrangements are in top gear for participation of Buruj Sports Academy in this year's edition of Nigeria qualifiers for Football Fives World Championship to be organised by Five Sports Limited.

The draw for the tournament in which Buruj Sports Academy also featured in last year's edition will hold at a date to be announced later by the organisers, but according to the Managing Director of the academy, Salaudeen Waheed, the management are not willing to leave any stone unturned as far as training and logistics are concerned in a bid to see that the team they will parade emerge tops above other contenders for the title this year.

"We are getting set for this year's edition of Football Fives World Championship. We got to the semi-final stage last year but we are determined to go another level this year by emerging as overall champions so that we can bag the ticket to represent the country in Thailand where the Championship proper will hold next year."

"The draws for the qualifiers are yet to be done but that will not stop us from training hard and putting every logistics in place for a hitch-free participation. We have some very talented players who are young and hungry to deliver and by God's grace, the management will give them all the support they 'll need to excel," he posited.

The winner of the Nigeria qualifiers last year, De Royals FC, won the ticket to represent Nigeria in Dubai, UAE, where the Football Fives World Championship was held earlier this year.
