The Nigeria Football Federation,NFF, has condoled with the Kano State Football Association over the death of former Kano Pillars FC player, Abdul Haruna.
Haruna was said to have slumped and died on Sunday while playing for Kano Professionals against a selected amateur side.
Its General Secretary Mohammed Sanusi, who is in London for a leadership training program, told Kano FA boss, Sharif Rabiu Inuwa, on telephone, that the federation did not have the full details of how this happened, but condole with the club over the unfortunate incident,.
Before his death, Haruna was a member of the Nigeria's Supersand Eagles that featured at the 2013 African Beach Soccer Championship in Morocco.
