Ikorodu DFA Invites Adegboye Onigbinde To Tutor Coaches, Rerefrees On Modern Football

Ikorodu Divisional Football Association,IDFA, has commended the effort of Teslim Thunder Balogun Foundation,TTBF,for sponsoring this year's edition of the Under -fifteen Football competition billed for June,2016.

Its Chairman, Lukman Shonibare, said the tournament which was opened to all youth football clubs in Ikorodu and its environs, had  been as a source of selecting young and talented players, who would represent Ikorodu in football competitions organised by the Lagos State Footbll Assopciation,LSFA.

He said, a total of thirty-two teams, paired in eight groups of four teams, would feature in the competition that would be played on a league format.

While warning that heavy sanctions await any team that parade merceneries, Shonibare, said the event would begin on Sunday, nineteenth of June, while Ikorodu DFA wil conduct a seminar for coaches, referees and all the registered teams to update them of modern rules and regulations of football.

According to him, the seminar will be coordinated by former Super Eales coach, Adegboye Onigbinde as all the registered clubs will be screened for a week begining from this Sunday till next week Sunday at the Police Barracks playground,Igbogbo Road.

Shonibare, explained that the was to eliminate age- cheat and also to a have data base of all the players who took part in the tournament.
