Buruj Sports Academy's preparation for the forthcoming United Kingdom trip got a massive boost on Wednesday afternoon when it reached an agreement with foremost sporting goods marketers VCN Sports International Limited to kit the team during the tournament.
Arising
from a marathon meeting with the Director of VCN, Chief Victor
Nwaribeaku, the CEO of Buruj Sports Academy Dr Salaudeen Waheed
expressed happiness at the smooth deliberation and cooperation between
the two which led to the signing of the landmark agreement.
"We
are happy to conclude this deal with VCN. Chief Nwaribeaku is someone I
have known for a long time as a man of integrity so it was easy for us
to reach an agreement. As it is, VCN will supply all our requirements
like jerseys, shoes, bibs, balls etc. We hope to reciprocate their good
gesture by giving them exposure and doing well at the tournament,"
Salaudeen said.
In his remarks, Chief Nwaribeaku also said he
was satisfied with the agreement with Buruj and looked forward to more
cooperation in the future.
He said: "We We are marketers of
the highest quality sporting goods, both wholesale and retail. We are
prepared to supply all the requirements of Buruj Academy and, hopefully,
other teams will follow their example and patronise us. We are happy to
do business with Buruj."
VCN, with four sales outlets in
Lagos, will also have their trademark logo on equipment to be used by
Buruj Sports Academy at the English Super Cup organised by Team Tours
Direct UK in July.
