Gaskiya Senior College and Alakoto Senior Secondary School Win Principlas Cup

Gaskiya Senior College and Alakoto Senior Secondary School have won the 2009\ 2010 Lagos State GTBank Principals Cup which climaxed over the weekend at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere.

Gaskiya Senior College which defeated Dairy Farm Senior Secondary School, four goals to three on penalties in the semi final beat Oriwu Senior Model College in the final by three goals to two.

Ibrahim Fatai of Gaskiya Senior College scored the first goal in the second minutes of the match as Tope Komolafe made it two - nil while Ibrahim Fatai scored the third goal in the thirty four to end the first half three - nil.

At resumption of second half, OriwuSenior Model College took control of the encounter but the team's efforts to level up was curtailed as Anyanwu Samson two goals in the the fifty ninth and sixty fourth minutes was not strong enough for the IKorodu based school to win th event.

In the female category, Alakoto Senior High School, Ajegunle beat Akande Dahunsi Memorial School by a lone goal through Blessing Obot as Jessica Agwu was named the Most Valuable Player.
