The Nigeria Football Federation has promised greater support and collaboration with the Nigeria Football Supporters Club.
The Federation's President, Aminu Maigari, said the Supporters Club was a strong platform that has been involved in the noble course of lifting Nigeria football to greater height.
“We would do so much to work together, to support you in what you are doing for this great country and to always carry you along in our activities and events. I recall several times that even our senior players have said that they always play better when they hear the music and drumming of the Supporters Club in the stands.
“We also believe that your Club has a great role to play in enlightening Nigeria spectators on proper supportership of their teams”, said Maigari.
Maigari , made this statement while receiving the executives of the Nigeria Football Supporters’ Club, led by its President-General, Rafiu Olalere Oladipo.
The NFF President said no team in the world could play good football without its supporters in the stands as the NFF hold the Nigeria Football Supporters Club in very high esteem and they would continue to collaborate with the club in any capacity.
Dr. Oladipo’s team to the NFF Secretariat also included the national Chairman, Otunba Y. O. Bashorun, 1st Vice Chairman, Prince Vincent Okumagba, Secretary General, Reverend Samuel Ikpea, Elder C. F. Ologunye and Nnaoma Chigbu.
