
President General of the Nigeria Supporters Club, Rauf Ladipo, has advised the Nigeria Football Federation to retain Flying Eagles coach, John Obuh, for not disgracing the country at the ongoing FIFA Under 20 World Cup in Colombia.
Nigeria's Flying Eagles was kicked out of the tournament by France in the quarter final clash played last Sunday in a match which ended 3 - 2 in favour of France.
Ladipo, said the NFF should endeavor to send Obuh on series of refresher courses to keep him abreast of modern techniques of coaching, adding that the team recorded the highest number of goals comceeding six goals from four matches.
While congratulating the team for losing galantly to France at the quarter final, the Supporters Club President, said mother luck ran against the Nigerian side as he explained that the squad justrified being an African champion for being the only African side that qualified for the quarter final.
He called on the technical committee of the NFF to beam its search light on the team's outstanding players who could be integrated into the Super Eagles, adding that some of the players had been able to distinct themselves as a future stars of Eagles.
