Lawal Akapo Street Will Retain MTN Street Soccer Trophy, Sikiru Assures.

Defending champion of the MTN Street Soccer Championship, Lawal Akapo Street is confident that the football club would retain this year's edition of the FIVE - A - Side football competition.

Its Chief Coach, Sikiru Ishola, said he had crop of matured football players who hav ebeen engaged in series of competitions as a build up to the Season 5, MTN Street Soccer Championship, stressing that he had embarked on thorough preparations in the alst six months to present virile teams.

Ishola, a certified football coach whose team Eskay Boys F.C and Royal Striker F.C emerged second and third positions at the Apapa Local Government Soccer Cup was an indication of the club's readiness to excel at the football fiesta.

The coach, who registered five clubs,Laal Akapo, Makanjuola, Savage, Isale Ofin and Gasikiya Street, said he had fortified each each with credible football players, stressing that Akapo or Makanjuola street stand a chance to win the event.

He commended the management of MTN Lagos Street Soccer opportunities for the players to showcase their talents.
