For effective information for visitors and guests hoping to be part of the 18th National Sports Festival tagged Eko 2012, the Local Organising Committee (LOC) has opened its call centres for the multi-sports tournament.
According to the LOC Secretary General, Kweku Tandoh, the essence of the centres was to ensure that people are given the right information of the games, as well as acquainting them with information about Lagos.
“Like we have been saying that this festival will break new ground in terms of hosting major competitions. As a state of excellent, we want to ensure that our visitors are hosted to world-class competition and we want to follow the international standard.
The call centres will help people outside Lagos to have full and detailed information about the games as well as the venues of events. It has been designed to take care of every Nigerian regardless of their languages. So for us, this is also one of the legacies we are hoping to set with this festival,” he said.
