Following the achievement of Lagos Junior League, the Nigeria Football
Federation, NFF, is ready to partner with the management of Lagos Junior
League in a bId to share ideas on how best the nation will always raise
a standard age-grade competitions.
President of NFF, Aminu Maigari, made this comment after he was bestowed
an award of excellence by the management of Lagos Junior League.
Maigari, who urged other states governors to emulate governor Babatunde
Raji Fashola for establishing a well structured football league for
pupils within the school system, said the Lagos Junior League was a
milestone in the history of Nigerian football because it is an avenue to
assemble Nigeria’s future football stars in an organized football
league and also to prepare them ahead of future challenges.
The NNF President said the award would spur him and other executive
members to continue working hard to place the national teams in vantage
position in Africa, because Nigerian young football players are
expecting more positive developmental programmes from the federation.
