
River State Football Association, RSFA, has enjoined Dolphins Football Club and CKC Football Club to replay the Federation Cup Semi final.
Sportsweight.blogspot.com gathered that Dolphins F.C played barren draw against Amatuer Division One side, CKC, in the first semi final played on Tuesday at the Liberation Stadium.
According to the Media Officer of Dolphins F.C, Acheru China, said both teams were expected to play penalties having played barren draw but the State's F.A cited poor security for the postponement of the match till the next day, Wednesday, 14th, April,2010.
China, said the F.A bizzarely came up with a another plan on Wednesday stressing that both sides should play a 20 minute per half but CKC refused because the rules says that a match should go into penalty shootout when two teams play a draw in the Federation Cup Semi final.
Following CKC insistence, the F.A again called for a replay on Friday as the Federation Cup would come up on Saturdy.
In the second semi final clash, Sharks laboured to a 1-0 win over Go Round.
Meanwhile, the club's striker Omo Ojabu has returned to Dolphins after helping the Flying Eagles to win the invitation tournament in South Africa.
Ojabu who was also a part of the Under 17 team that reached the World Cup final last year returned to Port Harcourt during the week and was named in the team that played against Heartland on Thursday.
However, his compatriot, Jelil Ajagun did not return to Port Harcourt as he was said to have gone to his home, Kaduna to treat an injury sustained during the tournament.
