The Disciplinary Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation, has banned Ray Nnaji,a former Board Member of the Nigeria Premier League, from all football –related activities.
The NFF Disciplinary Committee took decision yesterday at a meeting at the federation's Secretariat, Abuja.
In taking the decision, the Committee expressed utter disappointment with the way and manner Nnaji, a legal practitioner, handled his grievance against the NPL by going to ordinary court of law.
According to the Committee, Nnaji action was a violation of Article 36 of the NPL Statutes, Article 13 of the NFF Statutes and Article 64 of the FIFA Statutes.
The Committee also warned that any individual or organization that transacts anything with Nnaji on football matters, including holding of meetings or consultations, will be considered to be an accomplice and treated as such.
Nnaji had last Wednesday been suspended from all football activities by the NFF after a Federal High Court in Enugu threw out his case challenging his disqualification from taking part in the NPL elections.
On the case of Chairman of the Delta State Football Association,Amaju Pinnick, the Disciplinary Committee decided to summon him to appear before it in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital on Thursday, 15th April, 2010.
