The Nigeria Football Association has denied rumour making rounds that the association has shortlisted some Nigeria international as the assistact coach to the Super Eagles coach Samson Siasia.
Its Technical Committee Chairman,Chris Green who made this known in an interview with Sportsweight.blogspot.com, said the committee does not have any list of football players on its radar as the NFA's Executive Committee would meet tomorrow to delibrate on who becomes Siasia's Assistant coaches.
According to him, the committee has not requested for an application from any notable Nigeria's football players as the committee would consider the league coaches, former Nigerian internationals among other to assist Siasia.
Green, told Sportsweight.blogspot.com, that the committee's zeal to get a remarkable assistant coaches for siasia would not only focus on the Super Eagle but all the national teams as the NFA intends to embarkon revolutionary misssion on Nigeria Football.
He assured the flying Eagles who qualified for the African Youth Championship in Libya and the Super Falcons that are bill for the FIFA women World Cup Would resume to camp on the second of January,2011, where the Association has resolved to engage the teams in series of friendlies.
Green,. also denied the rumour that the NFA has concluded plans to replace the Super Falcons coach, Uche Eucheria,stressing that Eucheria is still under FA's payroll as the team's chief coach.
According to him, the NFA is planning to bring a new lease of life for the national teams coaching crew through an exchange programmes where the coaches would be engaged in an attachment training programme with reputable European football clubs to acquire modern training techniques.
